Division of Health Care Analysis

The division comprises two research and resource centres and provides the organizational affiliation of a division overarching strategic research area.
Center for Medical Technology Assessment
CMT is an independent research institute with the aim of conducting method development, disseminating research findings, and assessing methods and procedures in the health care sector with respect to their medical, social, economic and ethical consequences.
National Centre for Priority setting in Health Care
The National Centre for Priority Setting in Health Care is a national resource to support development and transfer of new knowledge on priority setting in health care. The result of the development work will be useful to first operating in the counties and municipalities in Sweden.
Implementation and Learning in Health Care
The strategic research programme Implementation and Learning in health care is a collaboration between the Department of Medical and Health Sciences (IMH) and the regional healthcare provider, the County Council of Östergötland. Research in the programme encompasses studies into knowledge and research use in clinical settings, implementation of evidence-based methods and learning from patient safety interventions and activities.
