Other functions:
Member of the National Pharmaceutical Benefits Board; member of SBU Alert Advisory Board at the Swedish Council on Technology Assessment in Health Care. Research interests are in health technology assessment (HTA), priority setting and diffusion of health technology. Actually his particular interest is to contribute to a national structure on macro, meso and micro level there HTA, policy making including priority setting and clinical decision making are integrated in a systematic way considering that health policy making never could be completely rational an d purely based on science. Besides conducting traditional HTA he is engaged in early assessment activities at Swedish Council on Technology Assessment in Health Care and at local level in the county council of Östergötland.
